Are you a Primary teacher who is looking to move from mainstream school to a rewarding and welcoming SEN school?
Career Teachers are seeking mainstream Primary teachers who are looking for a move into SEN schools. We can offer daily work with the idea of a long term position, as for these children routine and repetition is essential to their comfort and happiness.
We work with a range of schools including varying levels of Special Educational Needs: SLD, ASD, MLD and PMLD. All of which are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and hard working mainstream primary teachers to join their staff. Experience in SEN is not essential to this role, however a good EYFS-KS2 knowledge is essential to this role.
You will be able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that can focus pupils on their work and activities set. You will also be aware of the varying ability levels within SEN schools and how lessons may use sensory and development devises such as Music and Lego therapy.
The roles we can offer will be rewarding, have small calls sizes, reduced paper work and planning and will be in friendly and supportive schools that invest in CPD – many schools will put you through a MA in SEN.
