A NATO – Organização do Tratado do Atlântico Norte, por vezes chamada Aliança Atlântica, é uma aliança militar intergovernamental baseada no Tratado do Atlântico Norte, que foi assinado em 4 de abril de 1949.
A organização constitui um sistema de defesa coletiva através do qual seus Estados-membros concordam com a defesa mútua em resposta a um ataque por qualquer entidade externa à organização.
A NATO nasceu do Artigo 5º do Tratado do Atlântico Norte, no qual se declarava que “Um ataque armado contra um ou mais países membros será considerado uma agressão contra todos.”
O Tratado do Atlântico Norte foi moldado em parte pelo Tratado do Rio de Janeiro (criado em 1947 pelas nações da América do Sul, América Central e Estados Unidos) e justificado pelo Artigo 51 da Carta das Nações Unidas que garantiu o direito de defesa coletiva.

Perfil
- A Master of Science (MSc) degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a discipline related to Information Technology (IT) content with 2 years post-related experience;
- Or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a discipline related to Information Technology (IT) content, with 4 years post related experience;
- Or exceptionally, the lack of a degree may be compensated by a lower academic qualification combined with the demonstration of particular abilities or experience of relevance to this post, with a minimum 10 years relevant experience;
- Industry recognized certifications in system administration, operating systems, and/or system engineering: Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure), VMware Certified Professional 6 (VCP6);
- ITIL Foundation Certificate;
- Industry recognized certifications in networking systems administration: Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching, Cisco CCNA Collaboration;
- Information systems engineering and maintenance with a very good knowledge in Deployable CIS systems and Services support and/or maintenance;
- Email and collaboration services technologies (Microsoft Exchange and Skype for Business);
- Latest Server and Storage hardware technologies with a very good knowledge of HP MSA storage area network systems;
- Latest Virtualization Technologies and Operating Systems (Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware)
- Infrastructure Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) with a very good knowledge of network protocols employed within NATO Deployable CIS systems;
- Professional experience in delivering training to adult learners in a discipline related to the Information Technology (IT).
